Presentation and profile of Esther Koplowitz

The Esther Koplowitz Foundation was established on 13 December 1995.

The creation of the Foundation has led to the institutionalisation of charity activities that Esther Koplowitz had hitherto carried out on an individual and personal level since the 1970s.

Eighth Marquise of Peñalver (10.V.1977). Madrid, Philanthropist and businesswoman. She has three daughters - Esther, Alicia and Carmen.

President of the Foundation that bears her name, dedicated mainly to social work in favour of those most in need in society.

Lady Esther has always demonstrated great sensitivity to social issues throughout its history.

The Foundation is financed solely with donations from its President

Esther Koplowitz, FCC's largest shareholder, has received the Montblanc Award for the best female director of the year. The jury decided to give the award to Esther Koplowitz for her professional career, her management capabilities and her charity work carried out through the Help the Helpless Foundation, of which she is Founder and President.

The award was presented by the President of the Regional Government of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, at a ceremony held at the Saldaña Palace in Madrid, and was attended by her husband, Fernando Falcó, Marquis of Cubas, and their three daughters, Esther, Alicia and Carmen.
