The Esther Koplowitz Foundation was created on 13th December 1995.
The creation of the Foundation has consolidated activities that the founder had been developing on her own since the 1970s
The Esther Koplowitz Foundation seeks to help the members of society that are most in need.
The Foundation's aims include the creation and maintenance of retirement homes and institutions for psychological treatment and health care for minors, the ill and the infirm; it also seeks to promote education, culture, the arts and sciences, and environmental protection and sustainability.
The Foundation is currently undertaking a number of new programmes. It has made commitments to the city governments of Valencia and Valladolid to build and outfit two new homes for people with severe mental disabilities.
The charitable work of Esther Koplowitz, both personally and through the Foundation, has been recognised by a number of institutions.
